Vendor Terms
Effective 22 July 2026 · SnS Errand Runners, Ghana
1. Relationship
These Vendor Terms govern vehicle owners, rental companies, and operators ("Vendors") who list vehicles on the SnS Errand Runners marketplace. Vendors are independent businesses. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between a Vendor and SnS. Each confirmed booking creates a rental agreement directly between the Vendor and the customer; SnS facilitates discovery, booking, payment, verification, and dispute support.
These Vendor Terms apply in addition to the platform Terms & Conditions. Where they conflict on vendor matters, these Vendor Terms prevail for Vendors.
2. Eligibility and onboarding
To join and remain on the platform, a Vendor must provide and keep current:
- Valid identification of the owner or authorised representative (Ghana Card or passport);
- Business registration documents, where operating as a company;
- For every listed vehicle: registration documents, valid insurance (at minimum the third-party cover required by Ghanaian law), and a valid DVLA roadworthiness certificate;
- Accurate contact and payout details.
SnS reviews applications and vehicle documents before listings go live and may re-verify at any time. Approval may be refused or withdrawn where documents are invalid, expired, or misleading.
3. Listing standards
Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including:
- Truthful vehicle details, real photos of the actual vehicle, and honest condition descriptions;
- Current pricing, deposits, and any vehicle-specific rules (minimum driver age, fuel policy, mileage limits where applicable);
- Keeping availability calendars up to date so customers cannot book unavailable vehicles;
- Promptly updating or unlisting vehicles that become unavailable, damaged, or non-compliant.
4. Vehicle and service standards
For every rental, the Vendor must ensure:
- The vehicle is roadworthy, insured, clean, and fit for rental at handover;
- A joint handover inspection at pickup and return, recording photos, fuel level, mileage, existing damage, and accessories;
- Agreed delivery and pickup arrangements are honoured;
- Any chauffeur provided is properly licensed, competent, and conducts themselves professionally — the Vendor is responsible for their drivers' licensing and conduct.
5. Bookings
Confirmed bookings must be honoured. Repeated vendor cancellations harm customer trust and are grounds for suspension. If a Vendor must cancel a confirmed booking, the customer receives a full refund of amounts paid, and SnS may apply a vendor cancellation penalty or adjust the Vendor's visibility on the marketplace.
6. Payments, commission, and settlement
Online customer payments are collected through the platform's payment provider (currently Paystack). During onboarding, and using the settlement details you supply, a Paystack subaccount is created in your name. Your subaccount must be active before any booking with you can be paid online.
Payment is split at the point of transaction. Your share of each booking is allocated directly to your own Paystack subaccount, and the SnS commission is retained as that subaccount's commission percentage. SnS does not receive, hold, pool, or remit your share at any stage.
Paystack settles your share directly to the bank account or mobile money wallet registered on your subaccount, on Paystack's own settlement cycle. SnS is not the payer and does not control that timing. Paystack's processing fees are borne by SnS out of its commission rather than deducted from your share.
Where a booking is settled offline — cash or bank transfer paid directly to you at handover — those funds do not pass through the platform's payment provider, and commission on them is settled between you and SnS under your vendor agreement.
Commission rates are as stated in your vendor agreement and dashboard, and may be updated with notice. Vendors are responsible for their own taxes on rental income.
7. Incidents, damage, and disputes
Damage discovered at return, customer conduct issues, and accidents must be reported through the platform's incident tools, with supporting evidence (photos, inspection forms). SnS reviews evidence from both sides and may mediate; the status of platform incident records is managed by SnS.
Vendors must not demand private settlement from customers outside the platform for booking-related matters, and must cooperate with insurers' procedures for insured events.
8. Customer data
Vendors receive customer personal data (name, contact, booking details) solely to fulfil the rental. In line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), Vendors must use that data only for the booking, keep it confidential and secure, and must not retain it beyond what the rental requires or use it for marketing without the customer's own consent.
9. Suspension and termination
SnS may suspend or remove a Vendor for: misleading listings; expired or forged documents; unsafe vehicles; repeated cancellations; abuse of customers, drivers, or staff; misuse of customer data; fraud; or non-compliance with law or these terms. Amounts properly owed to either party survive termination.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We may update them from time to time with notice through the vendor dashboard. Questions: vendors@snserrandrunners.com.
